Das PUBG Mobile-Event ist eine Initiative, die den Betroffenen der anhaltenden Coronavirus-Pandemie helfen soll.
Fnatic und Loco arbeiten bei dem Turnier mit Marken wie OnePlus, Homegrown, AFK Gaming, Villager Esports und BookMyShow zusammen. Die Live-Übertragung wird auf Loco, der Streaming-Plattform von Pocket Aces, ausgestrahlt.
Nimish Raut, India Lead für Fnatic, sagt in einer Pressemitteilung: „Fnatic has always been a team that’s built by the fans. I believe that with the thousands of gamers across India coming together, we could truly showcase the power of the Indian esports community and contribute in a way that benefits the people who are most in need. #GamingforGood stands for every gamer and his or her orange and black heart“.
Preisgeld und Spenden für Covid-19 Betroffene
Das Charity-Event findet vom 3. bis zum 5. April statt, wobei 18 Spiele ausgetragen werden. Es gibt einen Preis-Pool von 200.000 INR (2.422 €), der an die drei besten Teams vergeben wird. Die Siegerteams spenden das Preisgeld entweder an Zomato Feeding India oder 4DOG’SAKE India. Die Zuschauer sind ebenfalls eingeladen, für die Gute Sache zu spenden.
